About this service

Summary

Websites are a powerful tool to tell stories, sell a product or fulfill specific goals. Creating a website is all about intention and execution, and I would love to help achieve your vision by creating user-friendly layouts.
My approach consists of understanding two main components: business goals and users. By exploring pain points and audiences, I work towards feasible designs that will help achieve both the business and user needs.
I love working collaboratively with stakeholders to explore the problem and communicate solutions.

What's included

  • User Research

User research is a process of gathering information about people who will use a product or service in order to understand their needs and preferences. As a UX/UI designer, I start by doing a competitive audit, where I look at similar products or services in the market and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. This helps me understand what works well and what can be improved. Delivery format: Notes on Figma with the option to discuss findings through a video call.

  • Information Architecture

Information architecture is the process of organizing and structuring the content and functionality of a website or application in a way that is easy to understand and use for the target audience. As a UX/UI designer, I create an information architecture that outlines the site's hierarchy, navigation, and content organization, based on user needs and business goals. Next, I create a site map that outlines the structure of the site, including the main sections, sub-sections, and pages. I also consider the navigation design, which is the system used to move between pages on the site. Delivery Format: A detailed design that outlines the site's information architecture, including the main sections, sub-sections, and page layouts. This will be included in the main project file in Figma or delivered in PDF or PNG format.

  • Visual Design

Visual design is the process of creating the look and feel of a website or application. As a UX/UI designer, I use visual design to create a visual identity that represents the brand and engages the target audience. To do this, I consider factors such as color, typography, images, and layout. I select a color palette that reflects the brand identity and appeals to the target audience. I also choose typography that is easy to read and consistent throughout the site. Images are also an important part of visual design, and I select images that are relevant to the content and appeal to the target audience. I also use layout and design elements such as spacing, alignment, and contrast to create visual hierarchy and guide the user's attention. Overall, visual design plays a crucial role in creating a positive user experience. By creating a visually appealing and consistent design, users are more likely to engage with the site, stay longer, and return in the future. Delivery Format: A set of high-fidelity mockups that showcase the visual design of the site or application. These can be provided in a format such as Figma, PNG, or PDF.

  • Accessibility

Accessibility refers to the practice of designing websites and applications that can be used by people with disabilities. As a UX/UI designer, I ensure that the designs I create are accessible to as many people as possible. To achieve this, I follow accessibility guidelines such as WCAG 2.1, which outline the standards for creating accessible web content. This includes designing for users who may have visual, auditory, cognitive, or physical disabilities. Overall, designing for accessibility ensures that the site is inclusive and can be used by as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. This helps to create a positive user experience for all users, and ensures that the site is compliant with accessibility laws and regulations. Delivery Format:An accessibility audit report that outlines the accessibility issues present in the site or application, along with recommendations for how to address them. This can be provided in a format such as a PDF or Google Docs.
