Nope, you don't need to be using accounting software to start working with me. I can help decide which software will be best for you and set it all up for you. It can be easier to start from scratch sometimes, so don’t feel like you are behind! If you already use accounting software, I'll have a discussion to make sure you are happy with it or if I recommend changing for a better fit. I specialize in QuickBooks Online and Xero for our clients.
After onboarding, your books are set up and ready for me to maintain on a monthly schedule.
I frequently update your books, categorizing all transactions throughout the month.
After each month ends, I reconcile your accounts to statements and do a quality review to double check our bookkeeping work for accuracy.
I will send one email with any questions I need clarification on. Once those questions are answered, you’ll receive a final email report with highlights of what your numbers are telling you.
If you don’t have any books yet, no problem! We will start from scratch and get you caught up.
I have a quick form for you to fill out to make sure I know what I need to get started. Then I will send an invite to get access to work in your accounting software. I will also be requesting bank/credit card statements and payroll reports. There may be other documents I need depending on what all you have going on in your business, but I will let you know!
