UX Research by Lars van SusterenUX Research by Lars van Susteren
I research big conceptual questions as well as the nitty-gritty of design solutions. Using a variety of research methods I gain insight into the thinking process of users. This input can be used to design compelling solutions for real problems and reduces the chance of failure.

What's included

Qualitative research
Qualitative research helps to answers those big, conceptual questions we have. Using this research method we gain insight into the motivations and thoughts of our audience. Qualitative research helps us build the right thing, before even questioning if we're building the thing right.
Usability testing
In this type of research we are testing low or high fidelity prototypes with users. Users are asked to complete various tasks in the process. This process is used to evaluate the quality of the product.
Unmoderated user testing
Using unmoderated user testing we can gather user feedback from a large number of users. This helps to gain quantifiable feedback on potential design solutions. Tools like UserTesting or Useberry are utilized in the process to find participants and host the sessions.
