Process

Here’s how the package design process works:

Brand Questionnaire: I’ll start by sending you a questionnaire to understand your brand, goals, target audience, and the vibe you’re going for. This helps me get a solid understanding of what you need from your packaging.

Complete Product Information and Dimensions: I’ll need detailed information about your product, including size, materials, packaging preferences, and any specific content for the packaging. This ensures the design is both functional and accurate.

Creative Direction: Based on your answers, I’ll create a mood board to define the visual style, colors, and overall feel for your packaging. This gives us a clear direction and ensures we’re aligned before moving forward.

Packaging Design: With the creative direction set, I’ll design your custom packaging. This includes all the visual elements, typography, and layout, making sure everything feels cohesive with your brand identity.

Packaging Presentation: I’ll present your designs in a realistic mockup, showing how your packaging will look in the real world, from the shelves to product photography.

Print-Ready Files & Dielines: Once the design is finalized, I’ll provide print-ready files and dielines in all necessary formats (PDF, AI, JPG, etc.), ready for production.

Revisions: You’ll have 2 rounds of revisions per packaging to ensure everything is just right before finalizing.

Final Files & Delivery: Once everything is approved, I’ll send over all the final files, including the dielines and print-ready versions, so you’re ready to get your product out into the world.

How long does it take to complete the package?
It typically takes 2 weeks to complete the packaging design, including revisions.
What types of files will I receive?
You’ll receive print-ready files in formats like PDF, AI, JPG, and dielines for easy production.
Can I make changes to the Packaging concept after it’s presented?
Yes, you’ll have 2 rounds of revisions to make changes after the package designs are presented. But you cannot change the visual direction. A second design option can be worked on for an additional fee.
What will you require from me?
Complete content write-up and Information about the product (size, materials, packaging preferences, etc.) to ensure the design is functional and accurate. If you already have a brand identity, sharing your logo, colors, and fonts will help ensure the packaging aligns with your existing brand.
