1. Discovery & Strategy

• Strategy Development: Define the product strategy, including user personas, user journeys, and the core value proposition of the web application.
2. Ideation
• Content Audit: For redesign projects, review the existing product’s content to decide what to retain, update, or remove.
• User Flows & Information Architecture (IA): Develop the IA to structure the content and features of the web application in a clear, user-friendly way.
• Wireframing: Create low-fidelity wireframes to map out the basic structure and layout of the web app, focusing on functionality and UX without visual design elements.
3. Design
• Mood Boards: Establish the visual direction through mood boards, incorporating color schemes, typography, and UI elements.
• High-Fidelity Mockups: Design polished mockups of key pages, embedding the visual identity and detailed UI components.
• Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive and adaptable to various screen sizes, with a mobile-first approach that scales up to tablets and desktops.
4. Prototyping & User Testing
• Interactive Prototypes: Build interactive prototypes that simulate the user interface and functionality of the web application.
• User Testing: Conduct user testing to gather feedback on usability, design aesthetics, and overall experience, then refine the design based on insights.
• Iteration: Continuously improve the design through iterative refinements informed by user feedback and stakeholder input, ensuring alignment with both user and business goals.
5. UI Development Guidelines & Handoff
• Style Guide: Develop a detailed UI style guide outlining the design system, including colors, typography, grid layouts, and UI components.
• Design Specs: Provide comprehensive design specifications for developers, covering responsive breakpoints, animations, and interactions.
• Asset Preparation: Prepare and optimize all design assets, organizing them for seamless handoff to the development team.
