The expensive part of a redesign isn't the design. It's redesigning the wrong thing.
Most teams know the site is wrong. Very few can say why, so the brief goes out vague, the agency fills in the blanks, and eighteen months later there's a better-looking site pulling the same numbers.
This is the thinking that goes before the design. What your site needs to say, to whom, on which pages, in what order. Yours to keep, and it works whether you build with me or with anybody else.

What you're actually buying

You're buying the ability to reject the wrong design.
Once the argument is written down, this is who we're convincing, this is what they doubt, this is the page that answers it, every design decision after it has something to be judged against. "I don't love it" becomes "this doesn't do the job we agreed for page three." Much cheaper conversation, much better site at the end of it.
It's also portable. The document goes into a brief, a pitch, a job spec for a new hire. It doesn't expire when the project does.

Who it's for

B2B companies who know the site is underperforming but can't name the cause
Teams who want the plan validated before signing off design budget
Founders who've been through one redesign that changed the paint and not the numbers
Anyone briefing an agency or a new hire who wants the brief to be right

Who it isn't for

Teams who already know exactly what they want built. Go straight to the Design & Build engagements.
Anyone looking for full brand strategy. This is scoped to the website and what it has to achieve.

What you get

An audit of your current site and analytics — where visitors drop out, what underperforms, and the reason behind each
Positioning and messaging hierarchy — the argument your site makes, page by page
A sitemap and per-page content plan — sections, headlines, proof points, calls to action
A conversion plan — the routes a visitor takes from landing to enquiry, and what supports each step
A written strategy document and a recorded run-through of the reasoning, so the thinking survives a handover
Everything in a form any designer or developer can execute — including one who isn't me

How it runs

Days 1–3 — Kickoff call, audit of the site and analytics, review of what you already know about your buyers.
Days 4–6 — Positioning and messaging. The argument gets written.
Days 7–10 — Sitemap, per-page content plan, conversion routes. Document written, run-through recorded, handover call.
Closer to one week than two if analytics access is ready on day one and I can get 30 minutes with someone on your sales team.

Pricing

$1,500, fixed. One tier, no upsell inside it. The whole point is that you can buy the thinking without committing to the build.

The step-up rule

The full $1,500 comes off Tier 2 or Tier 3 of the Landing Page, Website Design, or Multipage engagements. Build with me afterwards and the strategy is effectively free. Don't, and you keep everything and owe me nothing further.

Proof

Skalory — no site, no identity, and clients asking "what was your website again?" The strategy work decided what the page had to prove and in what order. 12x more traffic since launch.
Get More Healthspan — a doctor-led longevity clinic starting from nothing. The founder's read on it afterwards: "Every lead now takes us seriously."
