I've been working in and around startups since 2003, primarily as a developer and technical co-founder and can help answer most of the questions early stage founders have around tech, like what tools are good bets, how to prioritize features or functionality, what database to use, whether it's better to build vs buy specific capabilities, and how to find and evaluate your first technical hires (for both culture and capabilities).
What's included
Tech Stack Consultation
We'll have a 90 minute Google Meet or Zoom call to discuss what you're trying to build, where your company is at, what constraints and challenges you have over the near and long term (at a high-level), and identify areas that would be useful to workshop or explore together on the call. We can use the time to evaluate potential tools or stacks, dive into approaches for building a specific feature, validating the robustness of an existing plan, or even discuss ways to find and evaluate candidates (hint: Contra can help!). You'll have opportunities to ask any questions you have on the call, and we can stay in touch afterward with follow-up sessions as desired or needed.
