Process

Understanding the opportunity and defining the desired outcomes. Getting to know the content, audience, context and presenter.
Establishing a narrative arc that best achieves the desired outcome. This requires discipline and experience to strip away the superfluous and focus each slide (individually and as part of the whole) into a compelling message.
Crafting a succinct and engaging script.
Designing clear and compelling visuals that support the presenter.
Adding animation and transitions that support communication. The goal is effectiveness not flashiness.
Coaching the presenter to be able to deliver the presentation and make necessary edits themselves.

  • Can you work with PowerPoint/Keynote/Figma/Pitch/etc?

    Yes. The tools are all very simple. The value is in how to structure and deliver the content, and this skill is independent of the platform we choose to use.

  • How long should my pitch deck be?

    I strongly recommend aiming for 10 slides or less. I know this seems low but you are fighting for your audiences' attention and that is scarce. The brutal reality of pitch decks is that they are skimmed in moments. You should control in advance the content that actually gets consumed (all of it!) by being succinct. This clarity is a flex of its own. I will help you to communicate your message succinctly. My pitch decks have secured millions in funding and I have closed three successful rounds as a co-founder myself. I can help you to cut through.
