We will identify key features of your product which you'd like to test. I can stitch together a functional prototype to highlight those features either as they exist in your product today or from proposed designs.
Then, I will gather test participants from target demographics and have them go through the prototype. Recordings of these sessions will be sent to you.
Finally, I will create a report of my findings to share with you and your team.
What's included
Prototype
I will create a prototype of your product which can be used for usability testing.
Different products require different tools: from linking images together in Figma to allowing user input with Framer or HTML/CSS/JS. The goal of this prototype is to get insights and feedback on your product; so it needs to be "real" enough to get accurate insights.
Participant Recruiting
I will recruit usability study participants (usually 5). We can decide together what groups/demographics to target.
I'm experienced with recruiting participants via social media, at in-person meetups, and from online pools.
Usability Testing Recordings
I will present the prototype to users in-person or over Zoom with screen-sharing. Users will follow prompts to complete the tasks we are testing, thinking aloud as they go.
I will record these sessions (audio + video) and send the recordings to you.
I encourage a member of your team to join me as an observer. This is a great way to build understanding of your product's users.
Report
I will analyze the test sessions I conducted and create a report (either a text document or a full presentation). The report will detail the study setup, designs used, results, and recommended follow-ups.
I can send this to you and present it to your team via Zoom.
