Summary

With my background as a project manager and business analyst, I bring genuine business acumen to the table. I help clients with business needs assessments to determine the right product fit for their market before starting on any development work.

I've always been thrilled to be a part of making great ideas come to life. I like learning about what the goals are and making sure they're clearly communicated to everyone involved. I'll bring my communication skills to the table to ensure that your vision is brought to life.

Let me be your eyes and ears on the progress being made. Agencies have a vested interest in presenting news in it's best light; but you need someone who knows the language of developers and can explain to you the ground truth of what's going on.

I start at the beginning - working closely with you to create the project initiation documents that ensure the goals are clearly communicated. I follow the daily progress and track work products against the touchstones of success with clear early warnings if something is misaligned. When we come to the conclusion of the project - I'll make sure you know exactly what has been achieved.

    We'll meet to discuss in detail what you're hoping to achieve. I'll help structure your ideas and formulate a succinct description that makes it clear.

  • Project Charter

    A clear project charter can set the tone for a successful project delivery. The charter is the north star to check against when making any of the many important decisions that occur throughout the lifecycle of a project. I'll help make sure that your team knows what they're authorized and empowered to do in order to deliver on your business case.

  • User Stories

    Without knowing who is going to use a product it's hard to know when the new functionality meets their needs. I'll help to describe the core user groups involved with the system and what they'll need in order to make best use of what's built.

  • Onboarding Materials

    Having a clear idea of what you hope to accomplish is good, but making sure the team understands it is what makes it great. I'll translate from the business value focused language into wording that developers are familiar with. By explaining what's needed in terminology that the team is familiar with everyone can be brought into alignment.

  • Deliverables Monitoring

    While the team progresses towards completion of the project it's important to make sure that the results stay in alignment with the project charter and business case. I'll stay with the team and help to translate the work products that they've completed into language that can be understood by your stakeholders.

  • Project Closure

    I'll stay with the project right to the end; where I'll confirm that the work product empowers each of the identified user stories, resolves the business case and aligns with the project charter.
