Here are the challenges that I encountered when I was using a different platform for my blog:
Issues with core and 3rd party plugin updates. Sometimes, a core update + incompatibility of plugin causes downtime. Unmaintained plugin may also cause security vulnerabilities, and worse, could lead to server errors which is a headache because you need to hire a dev to troubleshoot it.
Plugin configurations are scattered across the dashboard. This is time consuming for me because the settings for plugins are placed differently.
Increased cost for premium plugin features. As our website grows, it sometimes need to have custom functions. Which is not available on free version of the page builder or plugin that we are using. This will force you to buy the premium plan which adds to the overhead costs.
Backup and restoration challenges. Although other hosting providers provide one-click backup and support, some hosting plans do not have this feature. You have to do this manually or rely on a developer to restore your website.
Lack of premium support on the platform. This is important to me because this offers peace of mind knowing that I could seek help about my website anytime.
These challenges has allowed me to finally switch my website to Webflow. At first, I am hesitant because of its upfront costs, but when I went in and switch to Webflow, I would say it is a FAR BETTER option because of its simplicity and security. ❤️
Yes, there's an adjustment using Webflow, but once I coped up with the learning curve, I would say it's better!
... and, I am planning to build another site soon!
Right now, I perform very minimal changes on my website. I only touch the design whenever I need changes. Putting my website on Webflow gives me peace of mind about its security (Webflow uses Amazon Web services, btw) and I can focus more on content creation, publishing articles, and adding value to my website.

FAQs
This service is tailored for new bloggers or existing bloggers that have a website running on a different platform like Wordpress, Wix, SquareSpace, etc. and they wish to switch to Webflow as their platform for their website.
Yes. It will! If a website is designed and structured correctly, it will positively impact the SEO. At first few weeks, it will be adjusting, so you may experience some bumps, but later on it will catch up and gain traction.
If it is already serving display ads, I DO NOT recommend touching it because it surely will get affected, and your earnings may drop as a result. So this is recommended for new site builds or websites that are yet to get monetized.
Only the standard blog functions are covered in the service. If you wish to add functionality that would require coding and configuration, it will fall under custom development, which is charged on a per-hour basis.
While making a switch can definitely help improve your website, it is still up to the content creator to grow its traffic. You, as a content creator and a website owner, should continue publishing articles and provide more value to your visitors consistently.
Yes! For a very reasonable price too! You'll have peace of mind by switching to Webflow, and a peace of mind by having a developer that ensures your site is up-and-running, so you can focus solely on growing your website and serving to many! Please refer to "On-going Webflow Website Maintenance" in the services section.
