FAQs
How quickly can you complete a project?
Depending on the size of the project, most designs take 1 week for first looks and then 1-3 weeks for changes, roll-out and finalizing approved concepts.
Are you flexible on your rate?
I estimate on a project budget with hourly in mind. If you have a limited budget, I can tailor the amount of time I spend on it to fit. Obviously, 20hrs will produce a better result than 5hrs, but we work with what we have!
Are you willing to sign an NDA and can you be trusted?
Definitely. I work with a lot of start-ups and projects in Film/Television that are highly sensitive to privacy.
Why should I hire you over someone else that's cheaper?
Go with your gut! You can get some decent results from more junior designers. For my services, you're paying for experience and guaranteed results.
Where are you and are you available to meet in person?
I live and work in Vancouver, BC and am happy to meet with anyone in the city or surrounding areas. I have also been flown out to meet clients in Canada and the US, which is great. (If you have the budget!)
Do you have a retainer rate?
I do sometimes work on retainer. Clients find it easier to manage billing when they know exactly how much their design budget will be each month. And it's great for Freelancers because it's guaranteed income in an uncertain world. Rate is based on company size and approximate workload, so let's chat.

Comprehensive Brand Identity Analysis (If Existing)
This includes typography, colour palettes, and brand guidelines. These elements form the foundation of your visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Delivering a detailed brand style guide helps us maintain cohesion in your marketing and communications, even beyond the scope of the current project.
Creative Brief
Whether you have an existing, completed brief or we're hashing one out in a conversation. It is important to establish your goals, demographic and desired tone.
Creating A Brand Identity (If Needed)
If no brand identity exists, it is the first priority to establish a look and feel that represents the organization and speaks to the target demographic.
First Comps
I will create 4-5 concepts, of which I will share the best 2-3.
Polished and Finalized Design
Once a direction is chosen, I will provide a polished and comprehensive design package containing all approved assets ready for print or digital deployment.
