About this service

Summary

1) On-boarding & Kick-off Call
Together, we discuss your brand. Not only what it is and how I can help but where you see it going in the future. This sets the stage for me to learn the in's-and-out's of your business but also helps to inform me of your brands style and possible avenues we can take to craft your brands new identity.
We'll also delve into my workflow and how I'll work and communicate with you to get us from initial ideas to the final deliverables. Additionally I'l walk through the contract before you sign to iron out any wrinkles or questions you may have.
Once all that's out of the way, I'll get you set up on my custom client portal so you can easily track the projects progress, give feedback and access any information which would be helpful to you during and after the process.
2) Strategy
Taking everything I've learnt in the kick-off call, I like to get started on some competitor analysis. This is to see how your competitors (if any) operate and if there's any lessons we can learn from them.
I then look to creating some mood boards of existing ideas, brands and designs which encapsulate your vision and show them to you in a presentation for your feedback.
Your chosen mood board will be the inspiration behind the project and drive further creative decisions so no pressure! (Don't worry if your unsure or if you have a more specific idea for the direction of the brand. Just let me know what your thinking or better yet show me examples!)
3) Designs & Revisions
Using your chosen mood board as a launching pad I get stuck into some early drawings and sketches. The best of these are then taken digital as I look to tweak and render them in a professional manner.
I then offer up multiple solutions (and their iterations) for your feedback and the best is taken to the final stages. I usually present them through mockups to see what they would look like on a real site or through different printed mediums (depending on the business).
By this stage I also finalise the brands colour palette and typography, before finishing up the social media assets.
4) Brand Guidelines
Once all design materials are approved, they're collated into a handy "Brand Guidelines" presentation. This details exactly how the brand should be portrayed across platforms and mediums. This is useful for when you hand your precious brand identity to another designer to ensure it stays cohesive and is utilised as intended.
5) Off-boarding & Final Steps
After all revisions are done and the design is finalised, we'll end with a call to get you up to speed on your new branding and talk final steps.
Some useful information and resources can be found in the goodbye packet and that's it! Your beautiful new brand identity is ready and raring to go!

Haashim created a logo for our company, MeloKura, that creates frequency and resonance, digital therapeutics. We were really impressed with the output and the journey. Haashim was focused, timely and presented options. On behalf of the Melokura team we are grateful to receive an amazing piece of work that we proudly display in all of our marketing. I would definitely recommend Haashim as a professional, accomplished, creative and committed designer. We will be using his services again.
