Together, we will plan your project, using your branding, brand and event colour palette and desired theme, as well as other ideas of what message you would like to get across, creating a plan for a short-form (usually less than one minute) video or campaign to drive engagement.
Using a range of visual assets you have available, as well as those needed—b-roll footage, stock photos and video, stock soundtracks, visual effects and typography—I will produce a visually amazing video that will jump out of the screen at your viewers, driving much-needed engagement!
What's included
Master video
You will receive a high-quality master video of final edit, for any future uses
Customised video for upload to social media networks
Finished video in the size (resolution), aspect ratio, desired format and quality as required by all social media networks we agree upfront to target
Masthead for promoting video
To help promote the video (before it is watched), a dedicated masthead will be designed, to use as a video placeholder, featured image in social media posts, website masthead and blog post featured image sections, and potentially also as a print flyer
Multiple angle footage
If you have footage which you've shot with multiple cameras, I will synchronise all your footage to craft a more visually dynamic video. This is particularly valuable for podcasts, interviews and customer testimonials, for example
Colour-correction and colouring
All videos will be colour-corrected to ensure they look right, and that separate clips match each other in colour, then coloured to provide an impactful and engaging look and feel, in line with your brand and visual theme
Audio correction, mixing and mastering
All provided audio will be audio-corrected, removing or reducing audible 'noise': pops, hisses and other common issues. Finally, the audio will be normalised, mixed and mastered for best delivery to mainstream platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, social media networks, etc.)
Subtitling and transcript
For improved social media engagement, all videos will be captioned or subtitled for people watching their social media timelines with volume muted, as well as for improved accessibility. Where relevant, a transcript can also be provided
Stock footage
For additional video needs, stock footage which augments b-rolls and other assets you have available, as well as any static stock images or illustrations will be used as needed, and licenses provided.
Soundtrack and sound effects
To add excitement to the video, to add dynamism and to augment the brand atmosphere you're attempting to convey, licensed soundtracks, music and other sound effects will be used, with licenses provided
Visual style guide
In the making of your video, a colour palette, typography and other typesetting elements used on screen to match your branding and desired visual direction, will be documented and provided for future use. This will include
ADD-ON SERVICE: Additional mastheads and thumbnails
In addition to the included masthead, a series of alternative promotional mastheads and thumbnails can be designed for a richer marketing campaign
ADD-ON SERVICE: Video reformatting for additional social networks
In addition to the one agreed-upon delivery format, reformatting (vertical, horizontal, square videos) can be provided for additional social media network and other use requirements
ADD-ON SERVICE: Additional language captions or subtitles
Beyond English, captions and subtitles can be created in any language and integrated into the video. The captions/subtitles will be provided as a separate file for your future use
ADD-ON SERVICE: Burned-in captions or subtitles
To ensure there is always a caption available on the video—and that it cannot be removed—captions and subtitles can be 'burned in' to the video. The typography can be styled to match a desired look
ADD-ON SERVICE: Project file and media archive
A full video edit project file along with all assets used can be provided for you to be able to change the edit yourself
