You'll receive feedback and guidance on all fronts, from recording gear through selection of online services.

I will help you do test runs with the recording platform of choice.

We'll collaborate to create all materials and assets needed for you to promote your podcast

You will receive an episode template that can be used by any podcast audio editor to create high-quality, branded, and consistent episodes in the future

Alternatively, we can explore the option of me taking on that role on a go-forward basis

Note About AI Usage in My Podcast Production Work

My AI policy is to use AI directly or via its inclusion in other apps and services where it makes sense to do so, where it increases quality and/or saves my client time and money. That being said, at this time, I do not leverage Generative AI to create any direct output that I provide to clients. Likewise, I do not pass AI-produced assets onto clients without a human (that's me) review.

What does this mean in the practice?

In podcast editing, for example, I use software that helps identify spots in the recording where filler sounds and words may be located (ex "ummmm"). From there, I manually edit out the desired cuts. I do not rely on AI to make the call on what stays and what goes.

I am happy to provide more details to clients, as I find this to be an important topic in a rapidly shifting landscape.

We begin meeting on a regular basis - whatever works best for your schedule. Daily? 2x or 3x a week?

FAQs

What about video?
I can help with a video podcast as well. Note that it can take longer to produce a video podcast, depending on factors like the recording quality of all participants. There's also something to be said for starting with audio only, and adding video downstream if desired, especially if you are new to podcasting.
Can you provide the episode template in an Adobe format instead of Audacity?
If you have a specific format needed for the episode template, that should not be a problem. I mention Audacity because I already use it myself, it's free, and widely utilized in audio editing.
Can you teach me how to do my own editing?
Yes! However, my suggestion is for us to focus on working through the startup and launch of your podcast first, and handle ongoing support, training, and other potential add-ons separately.

You will receive a stand-alone Audacity Project file. This will include any introduction you may have recorder, along with your intro/outro music. Each track will be named and organized in a clear and easy-to-use way.The podcast episode template could be used by yourself, or any editor you may choose to work with in the future.
