The famed Series A. Arguably one of the most important catalysts in a startup's lifecycle. You've captured lightening in a bottle, but can you hold on to it? Its time to scale what's working.
The Series A deck still tells a story, but now the story must be backed by real data. You’ve moved beyond vision alone — investors expect validation that the market wants what you’re building. When I design a Series A deck, I primarily make sure the following core elements are undeniably clear and compelling to the investor:
Prove product–market fit with early metrics (retention, usage, waitlists, CAC/LTV signals).
Articulate a repeatable, scalable go-to-market motion.
Show the founding team can execute at speed and with discipline.
Clear roadmap prioritization: what you will do and what you won’t. (showing what you will say "no" to is a more important indicator of focus than what you have planned)
Bridge the gap between early traction and larger ambition (G2M growth strategy)
To date, 9 of the startups I have worked with have entered due diligence with VC teams, and 5 have successfully raised a combined $69M in series A funding. I've found this above narrative arc to be the most effective at convincing a VC team to take your story seriously. If you provide a good outline, Series A decks typically take around 3 weeks to design. Its been my experience that you shouldn't need more than 25 slides to get through a compelling Series A pitch (this includes appendix slides).

What's included

Deck content review / refinements
I'll review your provided deck outline / content and suggest improvements to strengthen the pitch.
Series A pitch deck
Design of your startup's Series A Pitch Deck in Figma. Final deliverables will be a high quality exported PDF slide deck, and Figma working file.
"Air tight" pitch coaching / dry runs
Pitch practise sessions and feedback. When we're done with the deck, I will run a few role play sessions where you (and your co-founders) pitch me as if I was an angel investor.
