I can translate your music to illustrated images by finding the message or concept behind it.

We will work together to wrap your music with original and recognizable images that can fit not only with the album design, the typography and your band's logo, but with the box itself (if needed). The physical support that will contain your music (cassette, cd, vynil...).

But I only need a simple image for a single, you may say... it doesn't matter. The thoroughness of the process will be the same.

First Approach

We will discuss the idea or the message to convey. What is the music about? What is the genre? How many illustrations will you need? Do you only need front cover, or also the back cover? What is the artistic technique or style of the illustrations?... all these (and more) questions will be answered during this phase.

Sketches

I will provide you with 3 to 5 rough sketches (depending on your requirements and the complexity of the concept), which will be reviewed and approved by you. We will stick to one of them in order to start with the final illustrations, or we can change or improve them if you are not sure (a maximum of 2 times).

Color Trials (if needed)

If you have a specific color palette or pantone to be implemented in the illustrations, or the concept requires certain colors or textures (in regards to the printing and packaging, for example), we can include these requirements as part of the sketching process, and they will be provided and discussed there.

Process

You will be able to follow the process, review it and approve the progress and changes that may occur as part of the organic artistic development of the image(s). Depending on the deadline and feedback, I will show you 1 to 3 previews of the illustration(s).

Final Images

Lastly, I will provide you with the final artwork. As the graphic requirements for music media are strict, the format, size, mode and resolution will depend on the way you have chosen to share and sell your music. Vinyl, for example, will require a 300 dpi 31 x 31 cm CMYK image, while spotify will require a 4000 x 4000 px RGB image.
