I have about 8-10 years of experience as a designer and 5 years of experience working with people and other designers in the field. With me, you can be assured I have the ability to create identities that are captivating to the eye and useful to the hand. From logos to full on brand identities and from websites to product design, I have the ability to imagine what you need and bring to reality.

Process

Brand Identity Design Process

Discovery

This part of the process includes me asking tailored questions to find out important information that I can then directly use within the logos and visual identities that I create.

2. Moodboard / Alignment

This part of the phase requires that I create a visual collection of images found online that are close to the ideal emotions and feelings that you want the logo and visual identity to produce. This helps us make sure, before we spend time creating or design anything, that we are on the same page.

3. Design

I may start with sketching, depending on the type of logo you need, but often time I feel like low fidelity work is unnecessary, so I like to skip to mid fidelity work to save time, money, and energy on both sides. I don’t like to share work too early though. This has always resulted in the process collapsing. Once we are ready to show work, we will do so and give adequate time for feedback. We like to present 1-3 concepts for to then pick from.

4. Revisions (if applicable)

If need be, as with most projects, revisions will be done once we pick a direction to go in, which happened in the last part of the process. This can happen as many times as need be but we need to be weary of overthinking and over complicating things instead of being productive and efficient with our time.

5. Assets

This part of the process will require me to design all of the assets that you as a company may need to properly target your audience and leads the best. I am open to helping out a company as much as possible so there is no true limit to the number of assets that I am willing to design, but just remember that I am human and am not a superhero, so I can only do so much.

6. Brand Guidelines

Once I am done designing everything, I will then assemble the Brand Guidelines with all of the work I had done until this point.

7. Handoff

This includes us handing off all deliverables via a Dropbox and/or Google Drive link as well to your email inbox(s).

What's included

Discovery Document
This will actually be delivered before the design part of the process as starts. This will hold all of the findings we uncover when going through the discovery part of the process. It is a very helpful document that can be used to guide us through the project and beyond.
Adobe Illustrator Vector File of the Logo Design
This is the purest version of the logo. This is its origin. You can use this file for a lot of different applications as it is very versatile. You can send it to vendors, other designers, import it into other design software, etc.
Adobe Illustrator Vector Files of Digital and Print Ready Documents
This includes assets such as business cards, letterheads, posters, social media posts, banner ads, etc.
Brand Guidelines
This document will help show and remind you of the learnings about the company found during the discovery process, the logo and how it should be used, the typographic palette and how it should be used, and the color palette and how it should be used. This will go beyond the mini brand guidelines that are delivered in the other service I offer which is just a logo design package that also includes color and typography. It will also include more about the asset designed during this project and even mockups of said assets to give the reader a better idea of what the brand is supposed to look like in real life situations.
