Turnaround Time?
I proofread at ~8 pages/hour. A 20,000-word manuscript typically takes 3 business days, including editing notes and final checks.
Rush Delivery Availability?
Rush delivery available! Rate = $0.035 per word ($35 per 1,000 words).
Research/Fact-Checking, Copyediting, Developmental Editing Availability?
I also offer these services, at the following starting rates: Research/Fact-Checking = $0.035 per word ($35 per 1,000 words). Copyediting = $0.035 per word ($35 per 1,000 words). Developmental Editing = $0.04 per word ($40 per 1,000 words).
Acceptable File Formats?
I generally prefer Word documents, as I prefer to use Track Changes. Google Docs and/or PDF are also possibilities.
Confidentiality?
All client information and intellectual property will be remain strictly confidential, and will never be shared without your explicit permission.
Other Manuscript Types?
While I specialize in academic and non-fiction, I also edit/proofread all genres of fiction, literary fiction, creative writing, and game content, as separate services.
Further Revisions Needed?
One round of follow-up questions or clarifications is included. Additional revisions beyond that can be arranged for a small fee.
Respect for Authorial Voice?
I will independently correct clear errors, while leaving comments for any proposed stylistic changes, so you stay in control of your voice.
Formatting for Publication?
I can also help you format the content of your manuscript for publication in Word, PDF, EPUB, etc., so you are fully ready to publish! Basic Plain-Text Rate = $3 per page (1 page = 300 words), up to 200 pages. *Longer and/or more complex manuscripts (images, tables, etc.) will need a custom quote, based upon a sample. *My services do not include: Cover design, ISBN assignment, Marketing copies, Distribution setup, etc.

2: Clean Finalized Copy
Copy of manuscript with all edits/changes deployed; ready for submission or publication.
3: Style & Formatting Check
Style and formatting will be aligned to client's preference (APA/MLA/Chicago), or journal guide.
4: 1–2 page edit memo
Summary of edits, with key fixes and next steps outlined.
