Develop an Unreal Plugin with C++ to help with some form of help and automation within the Unreal Engine Editor. Features should be discussed in detail before any work can begin.

  • How long does a Plugin take to develop generally?

    This depends entirely on the complexity of the Plugin. Basic UI with some Engine automation can take roughly 2-4 weeks (10-20 full time days). More complex tooling may require time to research and test functionality which could equate to 4-10 weeks (20-50 full time days).

  • What types of Plugins do you create?

    I have a background in helping with automating repetitive or complex tasks that are prone to human error. Projects like Importing/Exporting FBX files, asset organization, building a Cinematic Level Sequence with specific actors and Camera animations, creating custom Blueprint Functions nodes, applying some editing to in-world Actors via batch process, etc. I do not have a background heavy in Mathematics so any Plugin that you think would require such a skill, will most likely not be possible with my skillset.

    Based on feature request, will deliver a Zip file containing all packaged Plugin files including Source Code and Pre-compiled Binaries for the target Unreal Engine version.

  • Basic Documentation

    Include a README.md file that includes instructions on how to install the plugin into your Unreal Project, how to activate it, and some basic instructions on how to use the Plugin and any caveats or important information and/or limitations with the use of the Plugin.
