Why You Need A Fact-Checker:
Fact-checkers work with editors and writers to ensure that copy is as professional and as accurate as possible. We're a second pair of eyes that will go through copy with a fine-tooth comb to eliminate mistakes, inaccurate information, and even catch some grammatical mistakes.
As a fact-checker, I look at dates, names (of people, places, and other texts), and historical references that are important to the delivered copy. Writing that relies on someones individual perspective may not need in depth fact-checking.
What's included
Everything you'll need for clean, accurate copy and articles:
A marked up copy of the original text with comments and corrections (wherever applicable). Suggestions for the copy including, sentence structure, grammar, and rephrasing any corrections. A 'fact sheet' where I outline the different sources (articles, books, etc) that I used to fact-check the copy.
