• Here's what you'll receive:

  After seeing the assignment, I'll work on a first draft. You'll receive that first draft in a Google doc that we can both have access to edit and comment on. If I need to use outside sources including other articles and websites for this assignment, everything will be linked and annotated. This draft will also include two or three headline options for the blog post.

• How to help me, help you:

  If you'd like a blog post, feel free to send a few links of examples of blog posts that you especially enjoy. Feel free to point out exactly why you like that blog post—is it the structure or the theme? Don't be afraid to include specific requests such as "can this be written in a more conversational tone? If possible, include a word count and tentative deadline for the blog post.

  A blog post describing your business is a great way to connect with potential customers who may have otherwise skipped over your services or items. An SEO focused blog can include key words that will make your shop more likely to show up on Google searches. These posts can include the story of how your business was founded, the principles behind it, and other topics related to your business or website.
