About this service

Summary

Are you a solo entrepreneur or small team with a need for consistent copywriting services? Are you an agency or in-house team looking for additional copy support?
I will work with you to meet your additional monthly content needs after a call to determine your goals.

Process

Here is my process for determining if I'll be a good fit for your copy project.
Quick direct message with what you are looking for so I can determine if I might be a fit for your needs.
If yes, a 30-minute Calendly call to talk through your goals and your current team's operating style (i.e., would I be the only copywriter, part of a team of writers/marketers, or a partner in your marketing strategy).
Creation of a scope that outlines the content delivery schedule, type of content desired, and number of rounds of revisions.
If we decide to work together, this is what a typical monthly cadence would involve.
Your team submits what content you'd like for the month (topics for blogs/webpages, keywords you are targeting, number of pieces, etc.). I can provide a Google Form if needed to streamline the content request process or follow any internal processes your organization might have.
I submit the content outline for your approval, to confirm we are on the same page for what the content should be.
Your team approves or amends the outline.
I deliver the first content draft, giving your team enough time to review before the deadline.
Your team provides revisions in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or a similar tool.
I incorporate your revisions, proofread my work, and submit my final draft
(Optional) Multiple rounds of revisions if needed. This is typically not necessary but might happen if your team decides to go in a different direction due to shifting marketing or sales priorities. Or sometimes, people will see the draft and get new ideas and want to make the content piece more robust. I will work with you to determine if the new request is still within scope or if it's worth considering the creation of other marketing assets to accompany the copy.
Here are some optional services I can offer for an additional fee, depending on the current bandwidth of your team.
Content brainstorm: Not sure what content to produce or how to best reach your audience? I can provide content strategy recommendations that meet your team where you're at and your ideal audience where they're at.
Copy editing: I have worked as an editor for a marketing team before and can self-edit using AP Style and your internal brand style guide.
Webpage layout: I can lay out the final content within an existing website, landing page, or pop-up. I am most familiar with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, and Bettermode but am willing to try my hand at other CMS or tools.
Email layout: I can lay out the copy within an existing email tool. I am most familiar with Mailchimp but am willing to work with whatever mail tool you use.
Basic Canva design: Is your copy part of a download, slide deck, graphic, etc.? I can help with Canva design, especially pieces like posters, 1-pagers, social media graphics, and ebook downloads.

FAQs

  • What will the price be?

I create a custom price for every project since needs vary wildly between different organization and team types. Similarly, even between similar content types, the subject matter may be more or less technical/niche and may require different amounts of research time. This is part of the reason I incorporate a call with every potential client, to understand your audience, needs, and budget.
