❓ Why would I choose design-only vs. design+development?
Reasons clients choose this: 1. You have internal developers, 2. You're shopping for the best developer separately, 3. You want design clarity before committing to the development budget. 4. You're an agency reselling design services. It gives you maximum flexibility.
❓ Will any developer be able to build from your designs?
Yes! I create developer-friendly Figma files following best practices. Any competent Framer, Webflow, or web developer should be able to build accurately from my designs. I include specifications and can answer developer questions.
❓ Do you include content/copywriting?
I use placeholder content and provide copywriting guidelines. Professional copywriting is an add-on ($800-1,500 for complete site copy). You can also provide your own copy to design around.
❓ How many revision rounds are included?
Two full revision rounds are included at key milestones: 1. after initial design direction (2-3 key pages), 2. After the complete design. This ensures we align throughout the process.
❓ Can I use these designs on any platform?
Yes! The designs are platform-agnostic. They can be built in Framer, Webflow, WordPress, custom code, or any web platform. The design principles remain the same regardless of build technology.
❓ What if I decide I want you to develop it too?
Great! If you choose me to develop after seeing the designs, I'll provide a development quote (typically $2,000-3,500 depending on complexity) and prioritize your project.
❓ Do you provide design files in other formats?
Figma is my primary tool (industry standard). I can export to Sketch, Adobe XD, or provide PNG/PDF exports if absolutely needed, though you lose the benefits of organized Figma components.
❓ What if I need logo design or branding?
This service assumes you have a logo and basic brand elements (colors, fonts). If you need logo design or comprehensive branding, that's an add-on ($1,500-3,000) or consider hiring a brand designer first.
❓ How involved will I be in the process?
Very! We'll start with a detailed brief, I'll share progress regularly, and you'll provide feedback at key milestones. Great design requires collaboration – your business knowledge + my design expertise.
