Rafael's Track Record 🥷
Before going solo, I was a Principal at Roivant, a venture capital and private equity firm founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, a 2024 U.S. Presidential Candidate. At Roivant, we raised billions in capital from leading investors such as Softbank Vision Fund and Founders Fund, built a portfolio of 35 startups, and went public on the NASDAQ in 2021.
Since leaving Roivant after our IPO, I’ve advised hundreds of startups across various stages, verticals, and geographies. Additionally, I’ve taken on several fractional roles, including as Chief Growth Officer for a B2C SaaS company in the US with double-digit millions in revenue, VP of Operations and VC-in-Residence for Funden—the leading investor matchmaking platform and Product of the Day on Product Hunt—and Head of Growth for an Enterprise SaaS operating in New York and Cairo.
Earlier in my career, I co-founded a tech startup and an e-commerce startup, both achieving significant revenue milestones. Even today, I launch multiple startups and products each year to stay at the cutting edge. I also worked in consulting and banking in London and Zurich with firms like Credit Suisse. Additionally, I led teams of up to 40 in the Swiss Army’s armored corps special forces.
