Summary

Phase 1 - Research and discovery
My process starts with discovery. I take an evidence-based approach to branding projects - I talk to audiences and analyse data to make sure the creative ideas work in the real world. I'll work with you to thoroughly understand your goals, challenges and your users. We'll achieve this through a series of questionnaires, workshops and desk research. I'll take the time to talk to and learn from you and your team to understand your values and approach.
These activities will be tailored around the questions we need to answer and where the gaps are in our existing research. This will ensure any decisions we make are evidence based, user-focused and right for your brand.
This will give us a solid foundation for our design process, and ensure we're all pulling in the same direction from the start. This will offer essential direction for both your organisation, the brand, and often proves to be valuable beyond the life of the project. 
Phase 2 - Stylescapes
Stylescapes show the visual direction of your brand. I will curate two routes containing images, colours and typefaces and present you with a vision for your brand based on the discovery phase. As the stylescapes are not a final piece of work, it’s an ideal milestone during the project to ensure that we all agree on the visual direction that the brand is heading.
The stylescape is a useful reference throughout the development stages of the branding process, it also serves as a reminder of the original direction chosen for the brand should you need a source of inspiration to keep the brand on the right path.
Phase 3 - Logo Design
I set no limitations on how we can communicate your brand. From the logo, colour, typography, pattern, textures and imagery, I'll embrace the most effective components to tell your story in a way that connects with your audience.
I'll present ideas to and provide opportunities to discuss and evolve the designs until we've achieved an effective solution we can all align with. I'll explore all digital and physical touchpoints for your brand, from social graphics through to campaign creative. 
The brand must be accessible to all, from the sizing and colour contrast of signage, through to accessibility across online platforms.
(The design phase includes two rounds of edits. Should we require further rounds this can be agreed at the start of the project or an additional cost can be discussed.)
Phase 4 - Design System
A design system is the foundation of your brand, which allows us to ensure consistency and confidence in how to communicate it with your brand assets. I'll establish a clear set of guidelines to maintain the integrity and consistency of the brand, but leave enough space for creative freedom to grow and evolve the brand over time.
Phase 5 - Brand Rollout
I'll create a suite of creative assets that can be used to communicate and promote your brand.
Once we've refined the final brand style, I'll deliver a Brand collateral pack, which will consist of a suite of assets and materials that can be used and customised to communicate the brand effectively.
These materials will likely consist of:
Logo pack - logos, special fonts, colours, shapes, icons, etc
Social media headers - cover photos etc
Research documents
Microsoft office templates
Social graphics - Facts, stats, success stories.
Digital adverts
Posters
Video animations

  • Logo

    We’re living in a responsive age so your logo is required to fit many touch points from print to digital formats. You’ll receive two routes of your logo in landscape, portrait and in simple icon format to guarantee your logo is flexible to represent your brand without losing your brand style.

  • Brand visualisations

    It’s difficult to imagine how your brand could look when presented with a solitary logo. Visualisations help you to envisage your brand’s visual components in context. I will present a vision for your brand in a context that aligns with your business, for example, your logo across your social media channels, your brand pattern incorporated into product packaging or how your logo will work across your website.
