Do you need clear and concise guides and video tutorials to help users become proficient in using your software or cloud service? Then this service is for you. I will also develop a knowledge base to help your support team provide the best customer service possible.

What's included

User Guide
I will write a user guide for your desktop software or SaaS from scratch. Any industry is fine, but I have more-than-cursory knowledge of fintech, mechanical engineering, AEC, and audio and video editing. I also have experience restructuring, updating, and maintaining user guides as large as ~600 pages, so the volume of work is not an issue.
Video Tutorials
I will create bite-sized video tutorials that will help your users onboard and gain a deeper understanding of your product or service.
Knowledge Base
I will work with your support team to build a knowledge base that will reduce response time and improve users' onboarding experience.
FAQs
Yes, I've done that before. I can also port it to a modern CMS (Docusaurus, Hugo, you name it) and set up automatic publishing through GitHub Pages.
Yes, absolutely.
I can do the entire production: voiceover script and audio, screen capture, video editing, subtitles—all of it. I prefer to hire voice artists, but that largely depends on the client's budget. I also have a network of professionals I can work with to produce fancier-looking product videos, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2F1A0MYhMk
Yes. In my career, I've used many of the tools available to technical writers: DocBook/XML + XSLT, LaTeX, MS Word, LibreOffice Writer, Google Documents, Sphinx, Docusaurus, Hugo, Jekyll, Scribe, Kroto, and more. Adding another tool to my toolbox is a non-issue.
Whichever is easier for you to review. I can accumulate a lot of changes and send them once a week. I can submit pretty atomic pull requests.
