Having a website is a great way to get attention on your greatest projects, your studio or anything of the like! I'll help you make a custom website that suits all your needs and will make your work truly shine!

Process

Gather Requirements: We will chat over video call or text to understand your vision of your website. We will also decide which key features you would like to see.

Website Skeleton: I'll make a quick mock-up of your website layout based on what we have discussed previously.

Does it fit your needs? If the website skeleton looks promising, we may continue to work together. However, if you're not satisfied with my work, no worries - I won't bill you and we can move on.

Gather Assets: If you have any artwork you'd like displayed on the website, we will use this time to exchange the assets so I can include them.

Build remaining features: If you need a blog or any similar features, I'll add it at this stage.

Polishing: This is where I'll adjust the look and feel of the website, including animations and accessibility.

This process is iterative - meaning that we will cycle through any of these steps as much as needed to make the best website for you!

FAQs

What technology do I use to build websites?
I'm most experienced in using a framework called SvelteKit, along with Tailwind CSS for the styling of websites. However, I can adjust the technology that is used based on your needs. Keep in mind though - if I need to use something else, it may take longer to get the results you want.
What kind of features can I get on my website?
Pretty much anything that is shown in my profile examples! But to name a few: - Carousels to showcase your work on the website - A news and blogging system that you can update using Markdown - An About page - Links to socials - Animations and styling - Accessibility and responsive layouts (which work well on all platforms) If there's something not listed here you want, I'll discuss the feasibility of implementing it with you.
How is the website hosted?
I host my personal projects via Firebase as static websites. However, I can be flexible on the hosting platform used. If you want me to do any work getting the website hosted, I will need a domain name, plus a way to make sure you have access to the hosting account. We can discuss details when we start the project.
Can I customize the site when I'm done?
Yes! While I do not use traditional content management systems, I'll do the best I can to make sure you can maintain your website after my work is done. I'll provide configuration files in the source code so you can quickly add data to display to the site. Plus, I will provide plenty of instructions so you can update the site on your own. If you need any additional help after the work is done, feel free to contact me - I won't charge for simple questions!

What's included

Design and Aesthetics
I'll make sure your site's theme and aesthetic matches your vision. I can add animations and visual elements such as carousels to your site to make your vision truly stand out!
News and Blog Support
The delivered website code will support the ability to display Markdown files as HTML, so you can write your own blogs in a more natural way. I'll also include documentation on how you can continue to add to the site.
Website Code
All the project's code will be yours, along with instructions on how to build, test and deploy your code in seconds!
Information Sharing
Any questions on the process? I'm happy to do some knowledge sharing on how the project works if you'd like to maintain it yourself.
