This is an edit plan, not an import file. Send me your Shopify product export and the fixes you want. I send every proposed edit side by side for your approval, then a sheet of the approved edits for you to apply in your Shopify admin. After you apply them, I compare a fresh export with the first one and list any approved edit that didn't land, plus any other change in the columns the exports hold.
For small stores whose product data has drifted: a vendor spelled three ways, mismatched product types, messy tags, titles with leftover codes, empty SEO fields.
What you send
Your Shopify "All products" export (CSV), exactly as Shopify produced it
The fields to fix, with a rule or the exact values for each (for example, the correct vendor names)
Product data only: no customer records, order data, passwords or store access
What you get
A record of the current values in scope and of what the export doesn't hold (such as collections and app data). It's a reference for checking the edits, not a backup.
A numbered before/after preview of every proposed edit, each citing its rule
A list of anything your rules don't settle, left unchanged, with a question
After your written approval: the approved edit sheet and a change report showing each change before and after
A follow-up check, separate from accepting the delivery: send a fresh export within 14 days of delivery and I'll compare it with the first one
Limits: up to 100 edits in total (one field on one product), across up to 50 products, in a store of up to 300 products. Product fields only: title, vendor, product type, tags, SEO title, SEO description. The cap keeps applying the edits by hand manageable.
Not included: store access or imports of any kind; variant changes (option names, values, SKUs); prices, costs, stock, barcodes, weights, images, alt text, collections, metafields, handles or publishing status; invented details (a missing value stays missing and is listed); copywriting.
How it works, all in writing
Message me your product count, the fields and a few examples. You can attach the export so I can check it's usable.
I confirm the scope and send a fixed-price project. Work starts once it's funded on Contra.
You review the preview, approve edits by number and send any corrections (one round included).
I deliver the final files. After applying them, you can send a fresh export for the follow-up check.
No calls needed.
Price and timing: $150 fixed within the limits above. Once the scope is confirmed, the export is usable and the project is funded, I aim to send the preview within about 2 working days and the final files within about 1 working day of your approval. Anything larger is quoted before work starts.
Proof: my catalog change kit in a synthetic demonstration (a fictional brand and made-up files). It has been tested on made-up files only, not yet on a client's store.
