Interactive Rive Mascot with Moods for Your App or WebsiteKishan Jotangiya
I turn a simple character into a Rive mascot that reacts: it idles, blinks, gets happy, scared or excited, and responds to what the user does. It lives in one small file that runs on web and in apps.

Who it's for

Apps and websites that want a friendly face for onboarding, rewards, empty states, errors or feedback screens, without a heavy video file.

What you get

A mascot in Rive (.riv): a simple, original character, or your own character animated, with its mood states.
Mood list and developer notes: every mood, the input that triggers it and how to connect it to your app or site.
Web embed code and a hosted preview link where you can try the moods yourself.
A short demo video (4:3) of the mascot moving through its moods, for your team or social posts.
One round of revisions after you try the preview.

How the moods work

Each mood is a state in a state machine, for example idle, happy, scared and celebrate. Your product switches between them with simple inputs, so the mascot can react to a tap, a score, a success or an error. Small touches like blinking and gentle movement keep it alive between moods.

Example: a friendly ghost

A cute ghost character in Rive, with a glowing body, a floating motion, a blink and a waving hem, all in one small file.

Example: a character that changes with the player

The little ghost in The Last Light shifts between idle, drift, scared, celebrate and fade as you play.
The Last Light: a small ghost with a lantern in a dark mansion

Example: one drag, three moods

A face that changes with a single slider: tears and a frown, a calm neutral look, or sparkles and a smile.

How I work

Brief (day 1): you share your idea or brand. I sketch a simple character and we agree the list of moods.
Build (days 2 to 5): I build the mascot and its moods in Rive and share a live preview link.
Review (days 5 to 6): you try the moods and send your notes. I make one round of changes.
Handover (day 7): I deliver the file, the embed code, the developer notes and the demo video.

What I need from you

Your idea, your brand colours or a character you already have, the moods you want, and the platform you will use it on.

Platforms

Rive runs on web, iOS, Android and other platforms, so one mascot file can live in your site and your app.
Message me with your idea and I will reply with a clear scope and a quote.
