Summary

A Full Game will be developed for the amount of time that was discussed during the contact phase. Purchasing of this service will ensure that you will be getting:

Process

  1. Discussion of Game Idea Once contacted, we will discuss the game idea. Here we will brainstorm, figuring out the game's mechanics and the game's genre, so that we can better understand the goals and scope of the project.
  2. Design Documentation After the game idea is elaborated upon, we will then begin the design document. Here, we will write down the features, story, target audience etc. that the game will be built upon.
  3. Prototype Phase Once the foundation is built with the design document, we will begin the prototype phase. This is where we will test out the game's main features and mechanics before spearheading fully into development. It is important, that we ensure that the game's features and mechanics gel together before pushing forward.
  4. First Playable Build Once the prototype phase is done, this is where the first playable build of the game will be done. In this process, we will expand on the features of the prototype and start adding more of the features planned in the Design Document.
  5. Alpha Build Once we finished the First Playable Build, this is where we will begin the Alpha Build. From here, more of the game's vision from the design doc will be fleshed out and any unnecessary feature will be cut out.
  6. Beta Build Once we finished the Alpha Build, this is where we will begin the Beta Build. From here, this is where the game will be polished, ironing out mechanics, and getting the details down. Placeholders assets will be replaced with their final form.
  7. Gold Build Once we finished the Beta Build, this is where we will go Gold. Here is where we finalize everything for the game. Ranging from Q/A, certified of the game's final state, and prepare to ship it to digital store fronts.
  8. Q/A Phase Once we reached Gold status, this is where we will do Quality-Assurance. This means ensuring that the major bugs are stamped out and that the game performs well at the target platforms.
  9. Shipment Once we finished Q/A, the next step is finally shipping the game towards the targeted platforms (Steam. GOG, and Epic Games Launcher for example).
  10. Post-Launch Support Once the game is fully shipped, this doesn't mean an end to our partnership! Even after the game is fully shipped, there might be bugs that pass underneath the radar or updates for post-launch support. Whatever it might be, I will work with you still to ensure that the post-launch support for the game is thriving.

  • Are you able to create a Console Game?

    At the moment, no. I do not have the required tools to do development/porting to Game Consoles. This may change in the future.
