Process

Script

I will have a call with you to discuss your needs and how I can address them. Together, we will review your script, and I will provide feedback to help us achieve the best results. If your project doesn't require a script, we will define your needs accordingly.

Storyboard

After our call, I will plan the animation by drawing the main frames. This helps translate the script into visuals and identify any issues early on. A well-crafted storyboard is essential for a smooth animation process.

Graphic Illustrations

If your brand has graphic elements that fit the animation, we will use them. Often, there are specific elements that need to be created for the current videos.

First Pass

This is an initial draft of the animated video. It's important to get a sense of our direction and identify what works and what needs improvement. We will check the timing and how the audio syncs with the video and graphic elements. We'll have a screen-sharing call to review this first version, and your feedback will help refine the final product.

Final Pass

At this stage, we will have finalised the audio tracks (voiceover, music, and effects) and the overall flow of the video. We are close from getting to the final result and after a few back and forth, we will have a final file to deliver in the required formats.

Timeline

Depending of the complexity of the project and the length of the video, a motion design project can take anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks. An accurate estimation of the time until the file delivery can be made at the end of the storyboarding process.
