Documentation
An app is not scalable without proper documentation. The feature will be documented so anyone who works on the feature afterwards will be able to jump right in and contribute immediately.
Test code (optional)
Test code is an investment. It will greatly increase the time it will take for the project to finish, but less time spent fixing bugs and performance issues as the project grows.
