• Before We Start: Can I see your previous work or examples before we start?

  Absolutely — I’ll share examples of past websites I’ve built (or worked on) so you can get a sense of style, quality and interaction. If you have particular references you like, we’ll include those in the Discovery phase.

• Before We Start: What platform will you build the website on?

  For my standard packages I use Framer (or optionally WordPress if previously discussed). I’ll make sure to explain the benefits of each so we choose the right platform for your needs.

• Before We Start: Do I need to provide my own hosting & domain?

  You’re welcome to use your existing domain and hosting account. If you don’t have them yet, I can guide you to affordable options—or we can include setup in your project scope (additional cost) as needed.

• Preparation & Build Phase: What do you need from me to get started?

  I’ll need your brand colors, fonts, logo, images (if you have them), and your page copy. If anything is missing, we can discuss stock imagery or help with copy. Clear inputs = smoother build.

• Preparation & Build Phase: Can we start if some content (images/text) isn’t ready yet?

  Yes — I can begin the project once we have your brand assets, colours/fonts, and an outline of your pages. Ideally, content is ready by the Design & Build phase to keep the timeline on track.

• Preparation & Build Phase: How long does it take to build the website?

  For the Basic Package (up to 3 pages) I estimate around 10 calendar days, assuming prompt feedback and content from you. If you choose one of the larger packages, more time will be required.

• Responsiveness & Compatibility: Will the website work on mobile devices (phones/tablets)?

  Yes — all packages include responsive design so your site looks and functions well on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

• Responsiveness & Compatibility: How do we handle mobile responsiveness and browser compatibility?

  All sites include responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile. I test across common browsers (Arc, Chrome, Safari, Edge) to ensure the site functions reliably for your audience.

• Scope, Revisions & Exclusions: What’s included in the revisions?

  In the Basic Package you get 1 round of revisions: you’ll review the draft and I’ll refine the design/structure based on your feedback. More revisions or major feature changes would fall under a larger package or additional cost.

• Scope, Revisions & Exclusions: What’s not included in the Basic Package?

  The Basic Package does not cover e-commerce, custom CMS setups, user logins, or large custom animations. If you need those, we’d move to the Intermediate or Premium Package (or provide a custom quote).

• Scope, Revisions & Exclusions: What happens if I request changes outside the agreed scope?

  Any work beyond the defined pages, revision rounds or included features will be treated as additional and quoted separately. This helps keep the project clear and on budget.

• After Launch & Payment: After the site is live, can I update it myself?

  Yes — for most builds (especially in Framer or standard WordPress templates) you’ll be able to update text/images yourself. I’ll provide basic orientation/documentation. If you’d like a maintenance package, we can discuss that too.

• After Launch & Payment: Do you provide ongoing maintenance or support after launch?

  After launch I include basic hand-off and a short period of support for any minor adjustments. For ongoing maintenance, updates or major changes, I offer extended support packages we can discuss.

• After Launch & Payment: What is the payment schedule?

  Typically I ask for a 50% deposit when we start, and the remaining 50% upon approval of the final draft (before hand-off/publish). This keeps things transparent and structured for both of us.

• Pricing & Packages: Why do your prices vary and when would I move to a higher package?

  Price varies based on scope: pages required, level of customisation, integrations, animations, CMS setup, etc. If your project grows beyond 3 pages, needs advanced features, or custom coding, then the Intermediate or Premium package is the right fit.
