The main character is feeling rejected and hurt by someone named Sly. She is disappointed that Sly did not have the courage to fight for their love. As a result, she decides to never go back to him or beg for his love. She tries to hide her feelings and pain by working overtime and not taking breaks from work. Despite her efforts, she cannot bear the fact that she won't see the man she has fallen for, who loves her in return but didn't defend her. She makes a vow to never fall in love again because it has only brought her pain. However, whenever she closes her eyes for a few minutes, she is haunted by the image of Sly Jackson, causing her to wake up in a cold sweat.
