The Process:
1. Discover
We’ll start with a discovery session to discuss your company, services/products, goals, vision, values, and target audience. This helps map out the vibe for your logo. Afterward, I’ll send a follow-up survey to gather any additional details or ideas you might have missed.
2. Curation
I’ll ask you to create a mood board of logos you admire—ones you’d use if they weren’t already taken. This helps me understand your aesthetic preferences and what resonates with you.
3. Words Exercise
After analyzing your responses and mood board, if we decide a logomark is the way to go, I’ll ask you to jot down every word that comes to mind related to your business, service, or how you operate. These could be objects, metaphors, or concepts from reality or mythology. You’ll then shortlist the most relevant ones. I’ll also do this exercise independently to ensure we’re aligned.
4. Brainstorming
I’ll brainstorm logo ideas and refine them internally. You’ll receive 2-3 strong concepts in the first draft, complete with mockups to show how the logo functions in real-world scenarios.
5. Revisions
You’ll get 2 rounds of revisions to polish and perfect the design. Additional revisions are available at an extra cost.
6. Delivery & Transfer of Rights
Once the logo is approved, I’ll create a style guide and send over the final files along with a transfer of rights document.
FAQs
How long does it usually take?
Timing depends on communication and feedback speed. Typically, I ask for 7-10 days, but it can vary based on how quickly feedback is provided.
What if I don’t like the first iteration?
I present 2-3 strong concepts initially, and it’s rare for clients not to connect with any of them. However, if needed, we have multiple revisions to ensure we achieve the desired result. Most projects are finalized within 2-3 revisions.
What are the pricing terms?
I require 50% upfront (non-negotiable, except for large budgets) as a commitment to the project. The remaining 50% is due upon approval of the final design.
Do you provide digital and print-ready files?
Yes, I provide all necessary files, including digital and print-ready collaterals, so your logo is ready to use everywhere.
Do you offer post-project support?
Yes, you’ll receive 2 months of post-project support. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or need help implementing any elements.
