About this service

Summary

With a branding kit, you will get everything you need to elevate your brand. Leaning on nearly 15 years of design and branding experience, in both the agency and startup worlds, I will develop a logo system, wordmark, color story, and typographic rules all rolled into a clean and clear set of brand guidelines. This will also include illustration and iconography assets if requested, as well as additional rules and recommendations for other brand needs such as photography, motion graphics, ad placements and marketing materials, as well as copywriting & brand voice.

Process

Here is a quick overview of the branding process, which can vary slightly depending on your needs:
Let's start the conversation! A kick off meeting will give us a chance to meet, and for me to familiarize myself with your brand story and values. I want to get to know you and your company—your likes and loves, inspirations and aspirations. We will also set expectations regarding timeline, deliverables and any additional needs.
I will then compose a look and feel presentation that will provide inspirational imagery and recommended directions for all deliverables (logo, wordmark, typography & color), which we will meet and review. This will include one round of revision if needed.
Each deliverable will then get a round of exploration, with 3-4 different directions presented in a 1st round review.
Any directions selected to move forward will then get 1-2 more rounds of revision and refinement.
Once the above are finalized, I will compose a full set of brand guidelines for review, including any additional brand needs, which will get up to two rounds of revisions as well.
With all assets approved, I will then organize them all, ready to use in all needed formats, into a package for delivery.

What's included

  • Logo & Wordmark

    After a full exploration and revisions, you will receive finalized logo and wordmark assets in b&w and full color (.svg .ai .png).

  • Color Palette

    After a full exploration and revisions, you will receive finalized set of brand colors, complete with all color values needed for digital and print applications (incl. cmyk & pantone).

  • Type Ramp

    After a full exploration and revisions, you will receive finalized set of typface selection, usually 2-3 typfaces, and rules for use.

  • Brand Guidelines

    Upon finalization of the Logo & Wordmark, Color Palette and Type Ramp, you will receive a full set of Brand Guidelines in a pdf format that includes: - An overview of each deliverable - Rules and recommendations for application and use of each deliverable - Additional rules and guidelines as needed (illustration, photography etc)
