An evidence-driven readiness assessment for teams using or planning GitHub Actions self-hosted runners.

I review the supplied runner architecture, labels, groups, repository and organization access, workflow selectors, capacity assumptions, connectivity evidence, update strategy, and operational documentation. The goal is to identify assignment risks and evidence gaps before they become prolonged incidents or unnecessary escalations.

Scope includes one runner environment and up to five relevant workflow files. The review uses sanitized configuration, architecture diagrams, logs, and documentation or minimum read-only access. It does not include host administration, production changes, penetration testing, or 24/7 operational support.
