Your machines already know how many parts they made, when they stopped and why, but that information stays in the PLC or on the operator panel, and production reports are still filled in by hand. I collect the machine data and make it usable: values read from PLCs, SCADA or machine controllers over Modbus (TCP or RTU) or another documented interface, a small collector service with buffering so no data is lost when the network drops, storage in SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and a web dashboard with live machine status, counts, stoppages and reports.
Delivered example: web-based process tracking for a machining facility, reading PLC and SCADA data over Modbus, UART, CANbus and Ethernet, with real-time monitoring and reports for production and maintenance planning.
Packages (fixed price, USD):
Starter — $600, 5 days (about 8 hours of work): Data from one PLC or machine read over Modbus and stored in your database, with a short written setup guide.
Standard — $1,800, 14 days (about 24 hours of work): Several machines collected into SQL Server or PostgreSQL by a buffered collector service, with a web dashboard for live status and counts.
Advanced — $4,500, 30 days (about 60 hours of work): A process tracking system: machines, jobs and stoppage reasons tracked, with dashboards, reports and hand-over documentation.
The price shown on this service is the Starter package. For Standard or Advanced, send a message with your scope and I will reply with a written plan and a matching offer.
How it works: the work is done remotely, through VPN or remote access to a PC on the machine network. Someone on site helps with cabling or PLC settings when needed, guided step by step in writing. The collector only reads values and never changes the PLC program. I work async-first in writing. You get a licence to use the delivered software for your business; Rui Codex keeps the source code (a source-code buy-out can be quoted on request).
