What is branding?
Everyone defines it differently, but it comes down to one word: personality.
Just as the way we dress and carry ourselves shapes how people see us, your business needs a look and a voice that fit it. When your business stands out, the right people notice it, trust it, and buy from it.
My job is simple: to make sure your target audience sees your business, and remembers it.
How I do it
Your brand identity includes a logo, a logo suite, typography, a colour palette, a usage guide, patterns, and mockups. Here’s what each one does for you:
A logo that tells your story A logo is more than shapes and text. It carries the story of your business. I’ll design a logo that does exactly that.
A logo suite for every situation Your business shows up in many places: storefronts, boxes, letterheads, and more. I’ll create logo variations that fit each one, so your brand looks sharp everywhere.
Already have a logo? No problem. We’ll build on it and give your brand the personality it needs.
Typography that speaks for you The type you use shapes how your audience perceives your brand. It works hand in hand with your logo, and the two need to elevate each other. Together we’ll choose a typeface that matches your brand’s vision.
A colour palette that sets the mood Before anyone reads a word, they feel your colours. Colour sets the mood of your brand in a split second, and it’s often the first thing people remember. I’ll build a palette around your business, your audience, and the feeling you want people to have when they see you. It will include:
Primary colours, the signature shades people will come to recognise as you
Secondary and accent colours, which add depth and flexibility
Neutrals, for text, backgrounds, and breathing room
Exact colour codes (HEX, RGB, and CMYK), so your brand looks the same on screen and in print. Your colours will work hand in hand with your logo and typography, and they’ll appear in your usage guide, patterns, and mockups. Everything will look like it belongs together.
A logo usage guide Once you have your logo, type, and colours, you need to know how to use them. I’ll give you a guide covering everything from clear spacing to the best background colours from your palette, with the do’s and don’ts, so your brand stays consistent no matter who uses it.
Custom patterns For moments when a solid colour or gradient isn’t enough, I’ll create patterns that match your brand’s image and keep everything feeling connected.
Real-life mockups See your brand in action before you commit. You’ll get mockups on business cards, packaging, t-shirts, storefront signs, and more. We’ll discuss every place your brand needs to appear and create mockups to match.
