Concept Development
Initial Logo Concepts: I’ll provide a handful of logo concepts that explore different directions. These could be rough sketches, digital mockups, or mood boards to show potential styles, colours, and themes. Think of it like the “sneak peek” of the brand’s future personality. It comes in the form of a mood board which is a visual collage to capture the feeling, tone, and style you want for the logo. Colours, typography, textures, and even related design inspiration will be shown here.
The Final Winner: Final Logo Design
Final Logo(s): The logo that you have approved and will represent the brand. This is the full-colour version in its primary, most recognizable form. Black and White Version: I'll create a black-and-white version of the logo to ensure it works in any situation. Alternative Logo Variations: Logos sometimes need a little flexibility. These could include: Vertical/Horizontal Versions: To fit different spaces. Icon or Symbol Only: The logo mark without text, for use as an app icon, social media avatar, or favicon. Text-Only Version: The brand’s name in a stylized font, perfect for simpler uses.
Logo Files
Vector Files: These are your core files. I’ll provide scalable vector files, typically in AI (Adobe Illustrator) or EPS formats. This allows the logo to be resized to any scale—without losing quality—whether it’s on a business card or a billboard. Raster Files: For immediate digital use, I’ll deliver PNG (with transparent background) files. These are handy for websites, social media, presentations, and other online platforms. PDF Files: The versatile all-rounder for print, PDFs preserve the vector quality and ensure that the logo can be printed across any medium, with full colour accuracy. SVG Files: Perfect for web and mobile use. These vector files scale smoothly and load quickly without any loss of quality.
The Stash of Goodies: Additional Assets
Favicon: A tiny logo for the website’s tab icon. It’s the little square you see in your browser. Social Media Assets: Profile pictures and cover photos featuring the logo, optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Branding Mockups: Digital mockups showing the logo in real-world scenarios, like on business cards, merchandise, packaging, signage, or websites. These images are like the photoshoot for your logo—it shows how it’ll shine in action.
