About this service

Summary

I help teams get clarity on their existing pitch decks before investing in a full redesign. Through a written audit and a live strategy call, I’ll show you exactly what’s working, what’s not, and how to strengthen your story, visuals, and structure. This service gives you expert insight and clear next steps — whether you're preparing for a pitch, refreshing internal comms, or improving your sales narrative.
Problem: “We have a deck... but we’re not sure it’s working.” Solution: I review and markup your current presentation — giving practical, strategic advice on storytelling, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand alignment. Ideal for: Teams with an existing deck who want expert feedback before redesigning Outcome: Clarity on what’s working, what’s not, and exactly what to do next.

Process

1. Project Kickoff & Strategic Discovery Call We begin with a short strategy call to align on your goals, audience, and how the deck is being used—whether it's for sales, investment, or internal alignment. You’ll share your presentation (PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides), along with any brand guidelines or supporting materials. This ensures the audit is grounded in real context and focused on delivering actionable value.
2. Audit & Strategy Review I conduct a detailed audit of your deck — reviewing structure, flow, visual consistency, messaging clarity, and brand alignment. I compile 10–15 actionable recommendations into a written report with annotated feedback.
3. Strategy Call We’ll schedule a 30-minute call to walk through the audit together, clarify key points, and discuss next steps based on your goals — whether it’s redesigning, refining, or sharing internally.
4. Follow-Up Support & Clarification After the audit and strategy call, you’ll have the option to send one follow-up email with any questions or requests for clarification. This gives you the chance to double-check ideas, get extra input, or validate changes as you move forward—so you’re never left second-guessing your next steps.

FAQs

  • Can I use this audit to improve the deck myself?

Absolutely. The feedback is designed to be actionable whether you’re updating the deck in-house or planning to hire a designer. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what to change — and why.

  • Can I add extras like a fast turnaround or feedback on multiple decks?

Yes! You can add a fast turnaround option (+$210) if you need the review completed urgently. If you have more than one deck to audit, I offer a discounted rate of +$690 per additional deck — perfect if you're preparing for multiple pitches or want consistency across presentations. Just mention this when booking and I’ll adjust the scope accordingly.

  • What file formats do you accept?

You can share your deck as a PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides link. I’ll deliver the feedback in your preferred format — either as comments, annotated slides, or a separate PDF report.

  • Is this right for me if I don’t have a designer on my team?

Yes. This service is especially helpful if you’re trying to improve your presentation before pitching, even without a design team. You’ll get clear next steps that work whether you're DIY-ing or looking to hire support later.

What's included

  • Strategic Discovery Call

Before the audit begins, we’ll have a 20–30 minute call to align on your pitch goals, audience, and how the deck is currently being used. This ensures the feedback is context-specific—whether you're preparing for an investor meeting, sales outreach, or internal alignment—and focused on the outcomes that matter most to you.

  • Pitch Deck Audit & Visual Strategy

You’ll receive a full review of your existing pitch deck (PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides) with 10–15 specific, actionable suggestions to improve visual design, storytelling, and message clarity. Feedback is delivered in a written report, followed by a 30-minute strategy call to walk through the key points and answer your questions. You’ll also have the option for one follow-up email with additional clarifications. This is ideal if you're not ready for a full redesign but want expert insights to sharpen your deck for internal use, sales outreach, or investor meetings.

  • Written Audit of Your Deck

A detailed, slide-by-slide review with 10–15 actionable suggestions covering structure, storytelling, layout, and clarity. Delivered in your preferred format — annotated PDF, PowerPoint comments, or Google Slides comments.

  • 30-Minute Strategy Call

A live call to walk through the audit, explain key takeaways, and answer any questions. We’ll discuss how the feedback applies to your specific use case—whether that’s refining your message, improving visual hierarchy, or preparing for a specific pitch. This session is designed to give you clarity on what to change, why it matters, and how to move forward confidently—either with internal edits or a future redesign.

I'm the type of client who really knows what he wants, but can't always express it. It took a 30 minute call and a brief look at my disparate moodboard for Jana to simply one-shot the branding system I wanted. That's how good she is.

Only 5/5 ratings for Jana. Highly recommended, and looking forward to working on future projects together with her.
