These are the steps I take before writing any copy, from start to finish
Research and Discovery: Before I start writing, I need to understand the product, audience, and brand voice. This includes; Understanding the product/service, defining the audience, analyzing the competition and gathering brand guidelines.
Outlining and Structuring: After I'm done with my research, I organize my insights into a logical flow, which entails; Defining the goal of the copy, outlining the key points and choosing the right format
Writing the First Draft: With all the structures in place, I'll start writing, starting with; A strong headline and hook, an engaging body copy and a Clear Call to Action (CTA).
Editing and Refining: Once the draft is done, I'll refine it for clarity, persuasion and impact. I'll do this by; Eliminating the fluffs, strengthening the CTA and improving the readability.
Proofreading and Final Review: Before delivering the copy I check for grammar and typos, consistency in tone and voice.
Feedback and Revisions: If I'm working with a client or team, I ensure I gather feedback
Deployment and Performance Tracking: Once the copy is live, I'd monitor how the copy performs. I'd look out for; Click through rates and conversion rates.
