Summary

The look of the brand is the key part of the visual identity and the first thing that the consumers/ key partners look at when introduced to the brand. So having that as clear and distinctive as possible helps us make the brand memorable and build brand loyalty.
I am a person who is observant and someone who pays attention to details and that has benefitted me in my designs that I have created to date in terms of helping me create work which is well thought out and something that brings out the best version of me through the design. Creating a unique and memorable look for brand to help them bring out their best selves is what I am most passionate about.

Process

Getting familiar with the brand and what they have to offer- their product/ service, their vision and what they hope to achieve through the design.
Researching the market that the brand exists in to familiarise myself with the landscape.
Creating 3 routes for the concept of the visual style for the brand.
Picking one route and developing that further to create options for the logo, packaging and the additional brand elements like- icons, illustration style and initial social media look for the brand.
Finalising the logo & packaging, and look for the brand and creating the final brand elements.
Working on the website landing page and other key pages of the website (if they are required).
Creating a brand manual and setting up guidelines for the brand to make it easier for the designers who would work on the brand in the future to maintain the look and feel of the brand across all channels.
