❓ Is this a sales call?
No. This is a genuine consultation where I provide value regardless of whether you hire me. Many clients just need direction and guidance – if that's you, great. If you want to work together after, even better. No pressure either way.
❓ What if I don't know what I need yet?
Perfect! That's exactly what this call is for. I'll ask questions to help you clarify your goals, identify what you really need (vs. what you think you need), and recommend the right approach.
❓ Do you look at my existing site/designs beforehand?
Yes! Send me your website URL or design files before the call. I'll review in advance so we can dive deep during our time together rather than spending time on initial impressions.
❓ What if my project is too small?
No project is too small for a consultation. Even if your budget doesn't fit full services, I'll recommend alternatives: phased approaches, DIY options, or other resources that might help within your constraints.
❓ Can I record the call?
Absolutely! I encourage it. You'll also get a written summary, but recording ensures you don't miss anything.
❓ What if I hire you after – is this fee credited?
Yes! If you proceed with any service package within 30 days, the consultation fee is fully credited toward your project.
❓ Can I bring my team to the call?
Yes! Bring anyone relevant – developers, marketers, stakeholders, decision-makers. More context = better recommendations.
❓ What if I need more time than 60 minutes?
We can extend to 90 minutes if needed (additional $75). Or book a follow-up session. Most discovery calls fit comfortably in 60 minutes with a clear agenda.
❓ What happens after the call?
You'll receive a summary document within 24-48 hours. If you want to move forward with a project, I'll send a formal proposal. If not, you keep all the insights and recommendations to implement yourself or with another designer.
