I spent a year and half reading manuscripts for a literary agency (126 manuscripts to be exact), and I focused on young adult and middle grade pieces. My beta reader reports are modeled after what the agent was looking for as well as my own tweaks from entering the freelancing space. I also earned my BA in Creative Writing while focusing on children's literature.
What's included
Beta Reader Report
The report will include notes and constructive criticism on the following: plot, character development, style/voice, pacing, POV, dialogue, and setting. Most of my reader reports range from 6-14 pages in length depending on the length of the manuscript and how polished the manuscript is.
