Process

Introductions
Let’s get this straight: I go big on trust. That's why, before diving into any new project, I’d like to have a quick chat. It's a chance for us to get to know each other better and really wrap our heads around what you're aiming for with your project.
During this initial chat, I’m all ears as you spill the beans on your project scope and goals. I’m here to listen, ask questions, and basically hash out everything.
Some of the things we might throw your way include:
- How did you stumble upon us?
- Why do you reckon it's the perfect time to give your brand a boost?
- How do you measure project success?
2. Proposal
Once we've got a good handle on what you need, I crunch the numbers and map out a project budget and timeline for you to check out. This is where you'll see the lay of the land and have the chance to tweak things in the scope to fit your budget.
The proposal will include things such as:
→ Outline of tasks and what's included.
→ Estimated schedule and milestones.
→ Breakdown of expenses and fees.
3. The Contract
Once we're all set to roll with your project, we'll seal the deal and collect a deposit. Usually, I ask for half of the project fee upfront. That way, we're both in it to win it right from the start. The rest of the payments will be spaced out as we go along.
Your email will include:
→ Detailed Scope of Work
→ Initial Invoice
4. Discovery
Every project kicks off with a laid-back get-to-know-you session. I don't have one golden question that solves everything about your brand. Instead, the aim is just to chat with everyone involved, soak up as much info as we can about your brand, what you're into, what you're not into, your goals, and what you expect from working with me.
In our discovery session we'll ask questions like these:
→ Who are your main competitors and
→ What sets your brand apart them?
→ Can you share any specific challenges or pain points your brand currently faces?
5. Moodboards
Before I get into the nitty-gritty of the creative stuff, I like to take a step back and make sure we're all seeing eye-to-eye visually. That's where moodboards come in – they're like visual mood boosters I share with you. We'll chat about the vibe that clicks with your brand, and keep your favorites in mind as we get our creative juices flowing.
6. Logo Design
Once I got the moodboard thumbs-up, I dive into the design work. Creating the initial logo usually takes about two weeks, though timelines can vary. Throughout the process, I may reach out for your input via email. If you don't hear from me right away, rest assured we're focused on refining your vision into a standout design.
7. Presentation
In a usual logo design gig, I’ll toss around 2-3 options that are really beefed up and ready to roll. You'll get a peek at logos and some brand mojo all in one go— and ideally, I’ll shoot it over to all your key players at the same time. That way, I can snag everyone's first thoughts and gut feelings, but don't worry, I’ll also slide a PDF your way for a good review session.
8. Feedback & revisions
You'll get to check out designs, share your thoughts, see updated designs based on your feedback, share more thoughts, and then finally review the final designs for approval. If you need more than two revisions, there'll be a small fee—this approach keeps feedback focused and saves everyone time and hassle.
As you compile feedback, a few things to consider:
→ live with it—set your logo as your lock screen & see how it feels,
→ know your audience—what works best may not be what you like best,
→ stakeholders—let all decision-makers weigh in before revisions begin
Brand Rollout
Once I got the green light on the logo, it's time to let it loose on the world! Usually, this is when I start rolling into other design gigs too—like building a website, crafting some branded merch, sorting out print materials, and cooking up digital templates.
Here are some of the files you'll receive:
→ logo in all the file types you'll need
→ social media avatars,
→ links to purchase fonts
→ PDF basic brand style guide
