This service offers the most flexibility, whether you just want a redesign of a landing page or a full website from scratch. Meeting the business needs while ensuring the sustainability, usability, and aesthetics of the website is core to the service. That's why my commitment extends beyond the project phase -- the package comes with personalized training content and detailed documentation, so that you, or the future contributors, will never have to worry about not knowing how to update and maintain.
Process
Here's a general process but will be personalized for each client. Meetings will also be set up to present findings, proposals, and progress so that we are on the same page.
- Initial Call: let's meet and chat to learn about each other first!
- Discovery Phase: understand the business needs & your goals, conduct initial research on problem space, write up project proposal
- Research: dive deep into the problem space through user research, competitive analysis, feature requirements doc with prioritization
- Design & testing: turn ideas into visuals through wireframing & prototyping and iterate with usability testing
- Implementation and hosting (if applicable): select a low-code platform to build out the website and host
- Final deliverables & documentation: complete project handoff with promised deliverables

I primarily leverage low-code website builders for simplicity and easy maintenance. However, I'm adaptable to your technical preferences, incorporating custom code if needed. My goal is to ensure a tailored solution that suits your comfort level and project requirements.
Can I update and maintain the website on my own?
Certainly! I provide personalized training and detailed documentation, empowering you or any future contributors to confidently handle updates and maintenance.
What's included
Discovery Materials
Materials used to understand the context (i.e. business, problem space, status quo, empathy maps, etc.). This includes user research documentation (i.e. surveys, insight summaries, etc.), competitive analysis, user journey maps, and any other applicable materials.
Strategy Documentation
Documentation of project objectives, business needs, key performance indicators, and feature/story cards.
Design Assets
Any assets produced as part of the design phase. These include but not limited to site maps, user flows, mood boards, wireframes and prototypes, brand guide, and user testing summaries.
Responsive Website with Cross Browser Compatibility
A deployed website that adapts seamlessly to all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile, etc.) and across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
Training & Development Documentation
A how-to guide on website maintenance that includes step-by-step instructions and/or videos on updating website elements and domains.
Content Integration
Any existing or relevant content such as text, images and videos, will be incorporated into the website, while ensuring the aesthetics and usability of the site.
Deployment Documentation
Documentation on hosting setup & configuration.
Optional: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Implement on-page SEO techniques to ensure that your website is search-engine friendly. This includes optimizing meta tags, headings, URLs, and other elements to improve your website's visibility and organic ranking in search engine results.
Post Launch Support (30 days)
After your website goes live, I will be available to provide support for any issues or concerns that may arise.
