My profile sounds interesting to you – you send me a message with the details of the novel, novella, short story, article etc. you would like to have translated.
I'll let you know if I have capacities, and if so, will provide a short sample translation free of charge.
We agree to go ahead with the translation and you send my the document.
If you prefer, I'll sign an NDA.
I'll work on the translation, complete a proofreading, and deliver by the agreed deadline.
I am happy to hear your feedback, do revisions or accept a proofreader's edit.
You publish the completed translation on the platform of your choice.

  • How do I know your translations are any good?

    Great question! With new clients, I always suggest providing a sample translation. This helps both you and I determine if we're a good fit, and how long the project will take. The sample will be free of charge. Apart from that, I can provide a Master's degree in English Lit, a link to my translations on Amazon, and a 100% Job Success Score / Top Rated Plus on Upwork.

  • How often can I expect to hear from you if I buy this project?

    As often as you wish! Usually, I work with milestones, so unless I have questions during the completion of a milestone, you will hear from me when I deliver it. However, I am always available for messages, should anything come up on your end.

  • How quickly can I publish the translation?

    You will receive a proofread, formatted word document, delivered at professional standard. As with all literary texts, I suggest finding an external proofreader to ensure the translation reads fluently and is error free. While I am thorough and proofread all my translations, I am no machine, and sometimes things slip through the net. Once the proofread translation is done, you're all set to go!

  • Which size of documents do you translate?

    All kinds! Starting at round about 1000 words, the sky's the limit. Just keep in mind that delivery time will increase accordingly. Have a look at my package options to get an idea of how long a translation takes. And feel free to get in touch with any questions!

I'll provide you with a translation that doesn't read like one, and will be completed to the highest standard, based on my many years of experience across genres and my master's degree in English Literature. Each translation will be thoroughly spellchecked and proofread, formatted according to the source document, and delivered as a Word file, unless another preference is agreed up (eg. Pages, pdf, etc.) A short sample translation ahead of any commitment will be provided free of charge.
