After having written and published more that 12 books I now what it takes to write engaging texts. In English, or in Dutch. I see it as my job to put down in writing the very essence of what needs to be published.

The process starts with an intake. What is the general knowledge area that needs to be put down in writing? From that a rough table of contents is created. It structures the mental path the reader is going to take. This is discussed with the client. Then the bulk of the work starts, interviewing, researching and writing down. Making graphics where needed. It helps if there is a contact within the organization that can review intermediary steps and chapters. At the end, all source materials are sent to the client.
